Ferrari has taken the wraps off its latest one-off creation – the HC25. It was unveiled at the Ferrari Racing Days at COTA in Austin, TX.

Designed by the Ferrari Design Studio, the HC25 is based on the F8 Spider, which, incidentally, is also the last open-top Ferrari powered by a non-hybrid twin-turbo V8 engine.

The styling of the HC25 is modern, sleek and minimalistic. It is characterized by a black ribbon element that wraps around the car, separating the front and rear into two distinct bodies. It also incorporates the air intakes, giving the car its clean look.

At the front, the headlamp has been created specifically for this car. It’s a slim, twin-pod design with a vertical LED DRL that extends into the bumper. The black element on the bonnet houses what appears to be Ferrari’s signature S-duct.

In the rear, the HC25 features twin LED taillights and a carbon fiber diffuser that houses twin trapezoidal exhausts.

Under the bespoke exterior is the familiar 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 710 hp @ 7000 rpm and 568 lb-ft @ 3250 rpm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the car to sprint from 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds. It has a top speed of 211 mph.
