Hennessey Performance is gearing up to showcase the Venom F5 Roadster at Pebble Beach. However, the open-top hypercar has already been caught on camera.
The Venom F5 Roadster will feature a removable carbon top, as seen in these images. The show car is finished in deep metallic blue and has red highlights along the sides, engine cover, and the rear diffuser. That being said, with the roof on, the car looks identical to the coupe.
The Venom F5 Roadster will use the same 6.6-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It develops 1817 hp @ 8000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm and will be paired with a semi-automatic single-clutch transmission.
We’ve been told that Hennessey will be building fewer Roadsters, and the asking price will be a bit higher than the coupe. The car will be officially unveiled at the Quail on August 19.
