Lanzante builds world’s first Street Legal Pagani Zonda Revolucion

Lanzante – the UK-based company which converts the McLaren P1 GTR track car for road use, have revealed their latest project. They’ve built the world’s first street legal Pagani Zonda Revolucion.

As far as hardcore track cars go, the Zonda R is right up there with the LaFerrari FXXK, Aston Martin Vulcan and the likes. It’s a no holds barred track toy – the most mental Zonda out there.

Transforming this crazy machine into a road car must’ve been quite a challenge. We don’t have the exact details about the modifications yet. However, here’s what we have been able to pick out from the images –

The Zonda R’s ride height appears to have been increased for obvious reasons. Still, don’t expect it to roll down steep driveways with ease. The quad headlamps and tail lights remain unchanged and so do the gold wheels. The high downforce package has been retained as well and the road version looks as insane as the track car.

On the inside, the road legal Zonda R gets more comfortable seats that are lined in leather. The steering wheel also gets matching upholstery.

Under the blue carbon fiber, resides a 6.0-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine. It puts out 730 hp and 524 lb-ft of torque and drives the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox. It’s still unclear if Lanzante have made any modifications to the motor. That said, the track car is capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 233 mph.
