Gold Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is a Mille Miglia Exclusive

Like what you see? Well, Alfa Romeo won’t be putting this Mille Miglia-exclusive gold shade on the Giulia Quadrifoglio cars.

The 2019 Mille Miglia race event was effectively utilized by Alfa Romeo to showcase a one-off Giulia Quadrifoglio finished in a retro-inspired Ochre shade. There are no questions on the dazzling golden gloss color’s ability to attract attention to the RWD sports sedan and it definitely makes the Giulia Quadrifoglio more eye-catching than the more subtle colors on offer in the brochure.

The gold shade is claimed to be inspired by a similar color applied on Alfa Romeo models in the 1960s and 1970s. But the carmaker preferred a shiny finish over the original’s satin one.

Presented at the 2019 Mille Miglia, the gold finish car has already garnered a lot of serious interest while successfully popping eyeballs and dropping jaws. However, Alfa Romeo has no plans at the moment to put this shade into production. Not even on a limited edition model.

The Giulia Quadrifoglio is the most desirable car in the current Alfa Romeo line-up. That could change once Alfa introduces 8C Competizione into the field. Until then, we can continue to drool responsibly over the Giulia’s fine lines and admire the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 503 hp and 442 lb-ft which helped it claim the Nurburgring lap record for saloon cars once.
