$36 million Ferrari 250 LM spotted driving in Maranello

Earlier this week, a 1964 Ferrari 250 LM was sold at RM Sotheby’s Paris auction. The legendary race car, which had been in the custody of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum for 54 years, went for $36 million.

Prior to being put up for sale at the auction, the 250 LM was sent to Maranello for a thorough check-up. It was during this time that it was caught driving near the factory. A video shared by @1am_2late shows the car exiting the iconic gate with the yellow ‘Ferrari’ sign.

This Ferrari 250 LM was the overall winner of the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was piloted by noted racing drivers Masten Gregory and Jochen Rindt. It is also the only privateer-entered Ferrari to have won Le Mans. Ferrari built 32 examples of the 250 LM.
