$15 Million McLaren F1 GTR Longtail (19R) at Spa Francorchamps

You may have seen this McLaren F1 GTR Longtail at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Now, here it is lapping the famous Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.

Before you scroll down to watch the video, here’s some history about the F1 GTR. This particular car is chassis no. 19R and is fondly known as ‘Squiggles’ because of that livery. It is the first Longtail GTR ever made, of which just 10 were built. It was also the factory prototype and the last F1 GTR to win a major race.

Having dominated the racing scene, chassis no. 19R has now been modified by Lanzante for road use. While it is completely street legal, the car retains its unique bodywork and stripped out interior. Lanzante has reinstalled the passenger seats but the racing dash and the sequential shifter are left untouched.

Tom Hartley Jnr has gone in to more details of this legendary machine in his video. He also talks about the evolution of the McLaren F1 into a motor racing tour de force.

You heard it! Squiggles is up for sale. So, if you have $15 million lying in your bank account, this is your best chance to own of these rare machines.

More recently, Lanzante has been involved in modifying the McLaren P1 GTR for road use. Here’s one that had come up for sale earlier this year.
