1000 HP Ferrari SF90 Stradale takes on the McLaren 765LT

Brooks has been wanting to race the McLaren 765LT against the Ferrari SF90 Stradale for quite some time. He has tested both cars on two separate occasions and the Ferrari clearly has an advantage. But, McLaren is known to understate the performance and therefore, it would be interesting to see the gap between the two supercars.

So, we finally get to witness a straight comparison between the 1000 hp SF90 Stradale and the 765LT. @doctorv12 was kind enough to bring his brand new SF90 which would be raced against John Hennessey’s 765LT. The venue for the race is Hennessey’s own backyard. Sit back and enjoy this one.

Here’s a low-down of the contenders –

The 765LT is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 that puts out 755 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. But, when Hennessey tested his car on the dyno, it developed 780 hp on 93-octane fuel. We have seen the car beat a McLaren Senna in the past.

The SF90 has a 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 769 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The internal combustion engine is assisted by two electric motors mounted at the front and one at the rear adding another 217 hp for a combined output of 986 hp.
