Watch the Rimac Nevera lap the Nurburgring in total silence
The Rimac Nevera has been testing at the Nurburgring for the past few days. It’s still not clear if the Croatian carmaker is chasing the EV lap record or is merely fine-tuning the chassis. Either way, it gives just a chance to see the world’s fastest electric hypercar lap one of the greatest racetracks in the world.
The latest video shows the Nevera going around the Nordschleife on a bright and sunny day. The car was being driven at a fairly brisk pace, but not in anger. All you can hear are tires grabbing onto the tarmac surface.
The Rimac Nevera is powered by four electric motors that have a combined output of 1914 hp and 1741 lb-ft of torque. In a recent test conducted at the Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP) facility, the Nevera clocked a 0-60 mph time of 1.74 seconds and went on to set a new 0-249 mph-0 record.
