Lucky are those who saw this Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren HDK in person. The ultra-rare supercar was spotted cruising on the streets of Beverly Hills, making heads turn and jaws drop.
The cameraman first spots it in his rearview mirror. He then points the camera towards it, and we get to see a clear picture of the vehicle cruising slowly. It’s difficult to exactly say what colour it’s wearing, but it seems to be a beautiful shade of green/blue/turqoise.
Of course, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren HDK is drop-dead gorgeous. But we’d like to point out that we’re glad to see a pair of halogen headlamps in today’s world of blinding LEDs.
Being a bespoke model, the SLR McLaren HDK features an upgraded steering system, a trimmed interior from a regular SLR, side grills, a rear diffuser, louvers, and single-exit exhausts. It draws power from a modified version of the M155 V8 producing 680 hp.
