Toyota is celebrating 75 years of the Land Cruiser with a special edition, but there is a catch: only 75 examples are being offered, and they are exclusive to Germany for now.
The limited-run SUV comes with retro-inspired round headlights and is available in an exclusive Smoky Blue finish, alongside several other colours. Dark-finished 18-inch multi-spoke wheels add to its distinctive look.
Inside, the anniversary model gets 12.3-inch digital displays, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, heated steering wheel and two-zone climate control. A 75th-anniversary badge adds a small reminder of its rarity.
Toyota is also giving buyers a commemorative box containing an enamel plaque, Tomica scale model, embossed keychain and a Land Cruiser history book.
Power comes from a 2.8-litre mild-hybrid turbodiesel producing 203 hp and 369 lb-ft, paired with an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. Serious off-road equipment includes a rear differential lock, stabilizer disconnect, Crawl Control and Multi-Terrain Monitor.
