Take a wild passenger ride in the Bugatti Bolide with Top Gear

Bugatti invited Top Gear’s Jack Rix to Italy for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride in the $4 million Bolide track hypercar. Jack did survive the passenger ride and has shared his experience in a recent video.

The Bugatti Bolide is based on a bespoke carbon fibre chassis that has been developed to comply with LMh and LMDh regulations and meets all safety norms laid down by the FIA. It is powered by the legendary 8.0-liter W16 engine that generates 1577 hp and 1180 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to a dry weight of 1450 kg, this track hypercar has an insane power-to-weight ratio of more than 1100 hp per tonne!

The Bolide is the ultimate track weapon money can buy. Only 40 examples will be produced and the first cars are expected to delivered later this year.
