Shelby Mustang Super Snake Launched at $113,445

The Shelby Mustang Super Snake looks mean and goes like stink.

Found the 2018 Ford Mustang less menacing and muscular? Hold your breath then, for Shelby has unveiled the new Mustang Super Snake. The Shelby Mustang Super Snake has been priced at $113,445, which includes the donor car and all the modifications on it.

The new Shelby Mustang Super Snake comes with a host of changes over the stock Mustang, both in and out as well as under the hood. Starting with cosmetic changes, the Mustang Super Snake sports a revised frontal stance which bears an all new sportier and macho looking front grille, air intakes, splitter and bonnet. The side profile too has been tweaked with flared wheel arches over the new gorgeous looking 20-inch forged alloy wheels, which get either black or bright metallic finish. The racing stripe, side skirts and a rear spoiler adds oomph to the overall persona of the Shelby Mustang Super Snake.

The more menacing change happens to be under the bonnet. The Shelby Mustang Super Snake comes with the same 5.0-liter V8 engine as the stock Mustang but thanks to the introduction of a massive new supercharger, bespoke radiator, heat exchanger and performance half shafts, peak power output has gone all the way up to 710 hp. However, if your thirst is still not quenched, you can opt for an optional 800 hp tune job too. With this, the Mustang Super Snake covers the 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.

To bring this manic car to a halt, Shelby has employed a braking system which consists of set of Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston units at the rear. In addition to these mechanical changes, you can also opt for track suspension or a wide body kit.
