Is Salomondrin Getting the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS?

A couple of days back we published a story detailing the engine specifications and the Nurburgring lap time of the upcoming Porsche 911 GT2 RS. We also mentioned that only 1000 units are planned and all of have been spoken.

Well, it turns out Alejandro Salomon (@Salomondrin)- the renowned “VIP Porsche collector” has some news. According to him, there is no official word yet from Porsche regarding the production numbers of the 911 GT2 RS. Also, baring a few well-known Porsche purists, the car maker may not have confirmed allocations for the rest.

As a member of the Porsche VIP program, Salomondrin will be among the first persons to receive an email from the company to inquire if he would like to purchase a GT2 RS. Since he hasn’t received any official communication regarding the new GT2 RS and since he would most certainly want to buy one, Salomondrin wrote to Porsche to get a clarification.
