Ruf Rodeo is a Porsche 911 built to take on the rough stuff
The Ruf Rodeo has just been unveiled at the Monterey Car Week. It’s a lightweight sports car based on the Porsche 911 that can take on the roughest of terrains.
The Ruf Rodeo first appeared in concept form in 2020. This production version features a full carbon fibre body with signature Ruf touches. It comes with a roll cage and 4-point seat belts. The car weighs just 2756 lbs.
Powering the Ruf Rodeo is a 3.6-liter, flat-6 engine that delivers 610 hp. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system, replete with limited-slip differentials in the front and rear.
The Rodeo gets double-wishbone suspension with pushrod-actuated coilovers and electronically adjustable dampers that can raise ride height to 9.5 inches. The car rides on 18-inch forged wheels, shod with all-terrain rubber from Goodyear. Braking is handled by a set of carbon ceramics.
