Rimac Nevera vs Bugatti Chiron SuperSport vs Tesla Model S Plaid : Can ICE hold its own over new EVs?

In a new video by The Triple F Collection, we can see three cars head against each other on a tarmac strip. These include the Rimac Nevera, the Bugatti Chiron SuperSport and the Tesla Model S Plaid. Earlier, the Chiron recorded a faster quarter-mile time that the Tesla Model S Plaid, but can it hold its own against the latest electric hypercar?

How did the race go about?

An up-prepared stretch of road in the middle or a large corn field in Ohio was the venue. The race also marked the addition of the Rimac Nevera to the collector’s collection. The Bugatti vs Rimac fight can be described as old school taking on the newest kid on the block. Imagine – a 16-cylinder engine heading up against electric motors.

Bugatti Chiron SuperSport vs Rimac Nevera

Anyone who has seen Nevera’s acceleration from a standstill, might expect the race results, however, it is still a spectacle to watch. The Chiron SuperSport has already claimed victory over the Tesla Model S Plaid, so we know who the real competition is with.

Despite a bad start, the Rimac Nevera had enough reserve power to beat the W16 powered Bugatti. The car clocked a blistering time of 8.72 seconds for the quarter mile with the Bugatti recording 9.39 seconds. The Tesla could manage 9.5 seconds.
