Famous automobile journalist Richard Hammond has been spotted in the new Porsche 911 GT3 S/C. The British TV presenter, who co-hosted the world-famous motoring programme Top Gear with Jeremy Clarkson and James May, took the Sport Cabriolet out for a spin at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026.
The video shared on social media shows Hammond driving the Porsche 911 GT3 S/C with a co-passenger. There is another Porsche behind, finished in black. But the beautiful red exterior paint and light bronze stylish alloy wheels of Richard’s car make it stand out from the crowd for sure.
The open-top version of the 992.2 GT3 features the same 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-6 engine as the GT3. It produces 503 hp and 332 lb ft of torque and has a 9000 rpm redline. The car can accelerate from a standstill to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 194 mph.
In other news, a red Porsche 911 GT3 was spotted lapping the Nürburgring Nordschleife recently. It is rumoured to be called the GT3 Bergsport, and would feature a manual gearbox.
