Production-spec Mercedes-AMG One to be revealed on June 1
After suffering multiple delays, the Mercedes-AMG One hypercar is finally ready to hit the streets. The production version will be revealed on June 1, 2022.
The latest teaser released by the company shows an illuminated silhouette of the AMG One hypercar. While the basic shape of the car hasn’t changed much, there will be a few modifications. Besides, Mercedes has had to rectify multiple issues, including NVH and cold start related troubles during the development phase.
The Mercedes-AMG One is touted as a Formula 1 car for the road. It is powered by the same 1.6-liter turbo-V6 hybrid that’s behind Lewis Hamilton’s F1 car. It churns out 1200 hp. However, the car’s final specs will only be revealed close to launch.
The AMG One is also gunning for a Nurburgring lap record. We expect it to destroy the previous best lap time set by a production car.
