Porsche reveals a special 911 GT3 to celebrate Nurburgring’s 100th birthday

Porsche is celebrating the Nurburgring’s 100th birthday with a special car. Called the 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nurburgring, the special edition will be limited to just 100 units, and that too only for Germany.

The car pays tribute to Porsche’s long association with the “Green Hell”, where the company has raced, tested cars and chased lap records for decades. Its appearance reflects that history, with buyers able to choose White or GT Silver Metallic paint combined with bright green accents.

The green treatment also appears on the protective wrap at the front and rear, while historic Nurburgring logos, race-number graphics and a gold Porsche windscreen strip add further motorsport character. California Gold 20/21-inch forged GT3 wheels complete the look.

Owners can choose a handwritten-style number from 0 to 999, inspired by graffiti found around the Nordschleife. Porsche also offers a colour-matched Manthey kit with suspension, brake and aerodynamic upgrades. With the kit fitted, the 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nurburgring can generate up to 540kg of downforce at 285 kmph (177 mph).

The special GT3 is available with either a seven-speed PDK or six-speed manual gearbox. Orders open in September 2026, with deliveries scheduled for 2027, the Nurburgring’s centenary year.
