Porsche Cayman GT4 RS crashes in Canada; slippery road to blame?

Someone has crashed their Porsche Cayman GT4 RS. The accident is believed to have taken place at an unknown location in Canada.

The exact details of the accident aren’t available, but it seems to be a minor incident by the looks of it. The image of the wrecked Cayman GT4 RS doing the rounds shows the car lying in a roadside ditch. There’s some snow on the ground, which suggests that the car may have skidded off the tarmac.

This is believed to be the third reported Cayman GT4 RS crash. The first crash was reported in February 2022 in Portugal, while the other is said to have taken place in the UK sometime in December last year.

The Cayman GT4 RS is a more track-focused version of the 718 Cayman. It is powered by a mid-mounted 4.0-liter flat-six motor that pumps out 493 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque. It is hooked up to a 7-speed PDK.
