Porsche Carrera GT Up for Auction

The Porsche Carrera GT first came out in 2005. It was Porsche’s idea of a supercar from 15 years back and it still feels and looks like it just rolled off the production line. It’s a true modern classic.

The Carrera GT was launched when the supercar market was populated by the likes of the McLaren SLR, Ferrari Enzo and the Ford GT. Each of these cars offered a completely different driving experience. The Carrera GT’s forte was its 5.7-liter V10 naturally aspirated engine. Man it makes a great sound!

This 2005 Carrera GT with just 3000 kms is heading to the auction block at RM Sotheby’s auction on September 7, 2016. But, before the car is handed over to a lucky owner, Evo Magazine got behind the wheel of this legendary supercar. It’s quick and it’s a joy to drive.
