A Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2) fitted with the Manthey Kit has just delivered a stunning lap time around the Nürburgring. Driven by race track driver Ayhancan Güven, a new lap time of 6:50.863 has been set at the Green Hell.

Developed in collaboration with Manthey Racing, this isn’t just a mild upgrade. The latest Manthey package transforms the GT3 into a track-focused tool, shaving nearly 5 seconds off the previous 992.1 Manthey lap and over 5 seconds compared to a standard GT3.

The secret lies in aero and chassis refinement of the Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2). Redesigned front and rear wings maximize downforce, while a four-way adjustable coilover setup with stiffer springs sharpens the car’s handling. A reworked underbody, featuring significantly extended aero elements, further boosts stability at high speed. On this record run, the car rode on sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres for maximum grip.

Even in its mildest configuration, the Manthey GT3 produces serious downforce, but in full attack mode, it generates a staggering 1,190 pounds, pinning it to the tarmac like a race car. Power remains unchanged, with the iconic naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six delivering 518 hp through a PDK gearbox.
