Ferrari has released images of a Purosangue that was customized by Piero Ferrari – Vice Chairman and the son of company founder Enzo Ferrari.
This Ferrari Purosangue is finished in a unique shade of green called Verde Dora. Inside, the car has Jade brown leather seats and carbon fibre trim.
The Purosangue’s 6.5-liter V12 engine develops 725 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque @ 6250 rpm. It is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Ferrari claims a 0-62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph.
The spec on the Purosangue matches that of the 400 Superamerica owned by Enzo Ferrari. Besides the color, the car also had several distinctive features that made it special. Enzo’s car had a more powerful 4.0-liter V12 engine. Also, the front and rear suspension did not bear the manufacturer’s name.
Earlier, images of Ferrari President John Elkan’s Purosangue had also surfaced online. Unlike Piero, Elkan has chosen a rather bold spec.
