One-off Mercedes-Benz S600 Royale Spotted in Los Angeles

The elusive Mercedes-Benz S600 Royale has been spotted in Los Angeles yet again. Thanks to Youtuber effspot we can have a closer look at this rather quirky looking, coachbuilt Mercedes-Benz S Class.

It is believed that the S600 Royale is based on the latest W222 generation of the S Class. The interior is almost stock featuring a dashboard from the current generation model.

The exterior however, is unique. A trained eye can easily spot the headlights and tail lamps from the SLS AMG. Also, the side vents are inspired by the ones on the McLaren SLR.

The owner definitely has a thing for classic Mercedes’ as the front grille has been designed took look like the old W111 and W112 generation of the S Class. The S600 Royale also has a lot of chrome on it which makes it standout on a dreary LA side street. It’s like a modern interpretation of the S600 Grosser.
