Last week, BMW teased a one-off 2-seater that will be showcased at the upcoming Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Well, the first images of the car have already surfaced online.
BMW’s latest one-off creation appears to be based on the Z4. It has a low-slung front end with a wide twin-kidney grille. While the front end might look familiar, the most striking thing about this car is its rear. As you can see, it’s a 2-door shooting brake design. The car has a raked rear glass with a stepped roof spoiler and L-shaped tail lamps borrowed from the Z4.
BMW is yet to reveal the technical details of its latest one-off. However, it is likely to share its underpinnings with the Z4 M40i. This variant of the Z4 packs a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine that makes 335 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
More information on the one-off BMW 2-seater will be announced at Villa d’Este on May 19, 2023.
