BMW has finally confirmed when the next-gen 3 Series will break cover. The new G50-generation sports sedan will make its global debut on September 30.
The redesigned 3 Series will take plenty of inspiration from BMW’s Neue Klasse design language, already previewed by the electric i3. Expect angular LED lighting, a redesigned kidney grille and slim, wide taillights giving the sedan a noticeably fresher appearance.
One of the more interesting variants will be the M350 xDrive, which keeps BMW’s familiar 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six alive, supported by 48V mild-hybrid technology. The engine is expected to produce 426 hp and 427 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the M350 xDrive can reportedly sprint from 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds.
Production of the next-gen BMW 3 Series is scheduled to begin during the second half of 2026. Full specifications and further details will arrive on September 30.
