New Honda Civic Type R Spied in the UK

The new Honda Civic Type R has been shown to the world but there’s still sometime until the car reaches showrooms. Honda first stunned the world with a exciting new concept which was followed by an official unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show. Now, the new Honda Civic Type R has been spied in the UK- this time at a training institute.

The latest generation of the Honda Civic Type R is powered by a 2.0-liter i-VTEC turbocharged engine that puts out 310 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Type R is a hot hatchback which now gets adjustable dampers and a mechanical limited-slip differential. This new model is much quicker than its predecessor, in fact it has lapped the Nurburgring in 7 min 50 sec making it the fastest front-wheel drive car around the challenging race track.
