The one-off Pininfarina Battista Targamerica made its public debut at the Monterey Car Week in August. At the time, we were told that the electric hypercar was purchased by a “renowned car collector”. It turns out that person is none other than Michael Jordan.
Automobili Pininfarina has just announced this on their social media. The company also shared a couple of images from the handover.
The Battista Targamerica looks almost identical to the standard version, except that it doesn’t have a roof. The car also has a different rear decklid and is finished in Liquido Gloss with Iconica Blu Gloss highlights. It rides on ceramic-polished alloy wheels and has black anodised aluminium centre caps.
The one-off electric hypercar has a tan interior with a specially designed cigar holder and humidor between the seats.
The Battista Targamerica is powered by four electric motors – one on each wheel, producing a combined output of 1874 hp and 1726 lb-ft.
