Mercedes-AMG has brought the GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ Coupe to Malaysia, adding more performance and sharper hardware to its already serious GT range. Pricing starts at RM 2,088,888 ($511,640)
Power comes from a hand-built 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 603 hp and 850 Nm (627 lb ft) of torque. That is 26 hp and 50 Nm (36 lb ft) more than the regular GT 63, with the extra output achieved through engine-control software. Power reaches the road through a nine-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission and AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel drive.
The result is a 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in just 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 317 km/h (196 mph).
The Pro also looks more aggressive, with a revised front bumper, larger air intakes and visible carbon-fibre air deflectors. Pro-specific checkered-flag badging completes the look.
More importantly, aerodynamic changes reduce front-axle lift by 30 kg, while braking and cooling systems have been upgraded to match the car’s extra performance.
