McMurtry has released a teaser video of the production version of its record-breaking electric hypercar called Spéirling PURE. It is set to be revealed after a week.
The teaser video shows us a single, shadowy image of the McMurtry Spéirling PURE, with the text “A Storm is Coming”. The visible model is finished in what appears to be matte green paint. Other features that can be seen in the teaser include a massive rear wing and the upcoming electric hypercar’s aerodynamic body.
The McMurtry Spéirling PURE will be a single-seater model. Unlike its prototypes, the production version wouldn’t offer over 1000 hp. The company has said it has used 95% new parts compared to the prototype sibling.
While no further details have been released as of now, McMurtry is expected to offer easy ownership and usability with its Spéirling PURE. Perhaps, this could mean that it will be a more approachable track weapon.
The McMurtry Spéirling has broken lap-time records at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed and Laguna Seca Raceway in 2024. It has a dual-fan setup that generates up to 4400 lbs of downforce, that too at a standstill.
