McLaren P1 painted in $42,000 MSO Pacific Blue color for sale
RM Sotheby’s has a very special McLaren P1 for sale. The hypercar is available for immediate purchase for an undisclosed amount.
Now, here’s why it’s special. This single-owner P1 is finished in a unique exterior colour called MSO Pacific Blue. Apparently, this was a $42,000 option back in 2014. The car has Alcantara upholstery with purple stitching on the inside.
McLaren built 375 examples of the P1. This particular example is chassis no. 117. It has just 2,900 miles on its odometer and has been regularly serviced. In fact, McLaren Ascot carried out a scheduled service on the car just last month.
The McLaren P1 is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid that churns out 903 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. The motor is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels. According to the performance figures released by McLaren, the P1 can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph.
If Pacific Blue is a bit bold for your taste, here’s a black McLaren P1 that is for sale at a Hong Kong dealer.
