Manny Khoshbin takes his Bugatti Bolide for a spin around the parking lot
The Bugatti Bolide arrived at Manny Khoshbin’s garage almost a month ago. He did post a few videos of the unboxing and delivery, but this is the first time we’ve seen it being driven, albeit gingerly.
In his latest video, Manny hops into the tiny cockpit of the Bolide and straps into the custom-made seat with a 6-point harness. The starting procedure is fairly simple: master switch, ignition and engine start; and the engine roars to life. As you can see, the car barely fits through the garage door.
Powering the Bolide is an 8.0-liter W16 engine that generates 1825 hp and 1475 lb-ft of torque. The car weighs just 1450 kg (dry), which gives it a power-to-weight ratio of more than 1100 hp per tonne.
The Bolide is Bugatti’s ultimate track hypercar. Only 40 examples are being produced with a price tag of $4 million.
