Man tramples McLaren 720S in London; arrested

A shocking incident has come to light in London. A man damaged the windscreen of a McLaren 720S in broad daylight by walking over the car and trampling it.

A video of the incident has also surfaced online which shows the man walking over the hood of the supercar before jumping on the windscreen and damaging it.

The owner of the car is none other than celebrity car dealer George Gehdu. Gehdu had parked his 720S on Barker Road, near the Uxbridge bus station. He had come out for a haircut at a nearby barber shop. The video also shows passersby dissuading the walker to stop doing it, but he paid no heed.

According to an official police statement, ‘Police are investigating a report of criminal damage to a car that is alleged to have occurred in Baker Road, Uxbridge, on the morning of Sunday, 12 February.’ An image of the alleged walker in handcuffs has also surfaced online.

The McLaren 720S made its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. McLaren has equipped the 720S with a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine. This engine produces 710 HP of power and 568 lb-ft of torque.
