Lotus is all set to debut the all-new Emira 420 Sport this year. We can say this for sure, as several details were recently leaked online.
The Lotus Emira 420 Sport will be powered by an AMG-sourced 2.0-liter, turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, tuned to 410 hp. All that power will be transmitted to the rear axle via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic, allowing the car to sprint from 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph.

Lotus has also made changes on the chassis side. The Emira 420 Sport sits 5 mm lower and weighs 32 kg less. The optional Lightweight Handling Pack that includes 2-way adjustable dampers, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, a titanium exhaust and more.

Customers will be able to customize their Emira 420 Sport with the lightweight Carbon Fibre Pack, while the interior has been updated with new materials, colours, hand-painted parts and optional carbon fibre trims. Leaked images also reveal an electric sunroof.

Lotus is also working on a new V8 supercar codenamed Type 135. It is likely to be called the Esprit.
