Lamborghini Unico (LB48H) Hybrid Supercar may not Debut at Geneva

The Lamborghini Unico, codenamed: LB48H was supposed to be unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show next month. However, sources tell us that the car might not be mechanically ready yet. Therefore, the official reveal is likely to be postponed for a later date. We can expect the hypercar to make its debut at the Frankfurt auto show in September 2019.

In June last year, we broke the news about Lamborghini’s new hybrid supercar. We later revealed that the car was likely to be named Unico. The Terzo Millennio concept could be seen as a precursor to the Unico, from which the latter could borrow tech and styling cues.

The new hypercar is expected to be powered by a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine tuned to produce 789 hp. The engine could be coupled with an electric motor to add another 49 hp for a combined output of 838 hp.

Production of the Lamborghini Unico / LB48H is likely to be limited to just 63 units. While Lamborghini hasn’t announced the official price tag, we can expect it cost around $2.5 million.
