Lamborghini Murcielago vs Lexus LFA Tandem Drifting
The Formula Drift series usually features tuner cars from Japan and a few odd American and European machines. It is a sport that involves torturing these machines to the extremes and hence rarely do we see expensive supercars being used at drift cars, but until now.
Drifter Daigo Saito has built what a Lamborghini Murcielago drift car for himself and he is up against an equally expensive Lexus LFA. Could this be the coolest tandem drift run in history?
The stock Murcielago comes with all-wheel drive and a 600 hp V12 engine at its heart. For making it go sideways, Daigo has converted it into rear-wheel drive but left the mighty V12 intact. Watch the two exotics dance around a twist drift circuit and create a could of smoke. This should make your day!
I would highly recommend you to checkout Daigo Saito’s mighty JZX100 on Drifted.com. Their comprehensive feature story has some really awesome images and a tonne of information. I’m sure you want to know more about the car that pulled off the famous jump drift at Ebisu.
