Lamborghini Huracan successor to debut in August 2024
The Lamborghini Huracan successor is one of the most awaited supercars of 2024. The brand’s head of sales and marketing Federico Foschini, has now shed some light on the official launch date.
During an interaction with Autocar, Foschini revealed that the Huracan replacement will arrive in August this year. The new baby Lambo will be powered by a V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Speaking about the switch from a naturally aspirated V10 to a V8 PHEV, Foschini said, “the package itself it’s much better than a normal ICE car.“ He went on to state, “There are characteristics that you cannot achieve if you don’t have an electric motor; it gives you the opportunity to leverage even more on the potential of the engine.”
The engine itself is rumoured to be a high-revving twin-turbo V8 paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The exact details, however, are still unclear.
The design of the Huracan successor be based on the brand’s ‘spaceship‘ ethos. Hence, we can expect styling inspired by the flagship Revuelto.
Lamborghini has filed a trademark for the ‘Temerario‘ nametag, which has led to speculation that it could be used for the Huracan successor.
