Lamborghini will launch the Centenario Roadster at The Quail. The exclusive supercar will be revealed on Friday, Aug 19 and will also be on display throughout the weekend at the Pebble Beach Concourse.
Lamborghini first revealed the Centenario at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show. The limited edition supercar was created to celebrate company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday. A total of 40 Centenarios will be built which will include 20 roadsters.
The Centenario is based on the Aventador but with a tricked out V12 engine which now makes 770 hp. Thanks to the upgrade, the Centenario is capable of reaching speeds up to 217 mph. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.8 sec. The roadster is expected to be a tad heavier than the coupe which could have a slight effect on performance.
