This video of a LaFerrari cruising at 231 mph is going viral on social media. The supercar accelerates from around 137 mph to over 231 mph before the video cuts off. It’s also interesting to see how stable the car is even at those speeds.
What’s weird is that according to the official stats, the LaFerrari has a top speed of 217 mph. That said, it’s common for automakers to publish conservative performance. Besides, environmental factors like a tail wind can greatly affect the top speed of a car.
The LaFerrari is powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engine paired with a hybrid system that delivers 949 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque. The engine is hooked up to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The car is capable of doing 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds. It will do 0-100 mph in just 4.7 seconds.
