If you are among those who didn’t receive an allocation for the new Ford GT, you shouldn’t lose hope. Ford has announced that it will reopen bookings for the new Ford GT in 2018.
Ford received over 6500 applications from people expressing their interest in purchasing the new Ford GT. With just 500 units scheduled for the first batch of production, thousands of potential buyers were left disappointed. The second phase of booking will commence in 2018 for an additional 500 units taking the total number of Ford GTs on the road to 1000.
Moreover, those who have already received allocations will have to confirm their bookings before deliveries begin in the later part of 2016. Slots will open up if someone cancels their order but that’s highly unlikely.
