Something big is brewing at Ferrari. And this time, the clue isn’t a teaser image or a spy shot. It’s a name – Ferrari FX-100 – and this could be the brand’s next flagship model.
Ferrari has quietly filed a trademark for FX-100 and FX100. On paper, it’s just another filing, but in reality, it could be our first hint at the Italian company’s next hypercar.

The name doesn’t follow Ferrari’s usual road car pattern. Instead, it leans toward the brand’s hardcore XX programme – track-focused machines built to push technology to its limits. If that’s the case, then the FX-100 could be the next evolution of that philosophy. Perhaps even a more extreme take on the Ferrari F80. But there’s another angle. And it’s just as exciting.

Ferrari has a long tradition of marking milestones with special cars- the F40, the F50. Even the internal “F70” for LaFerrari. So the “100” in FX-100 might not be random. It could point to 2029 – 100 years since the founding of Scuderia Ferrari. If that theory holds, expect something outrageous, track-focused, and limited.
Whatever it turns out to be, one thing is certain. Ferrari is preparing something special. And the FX-100 name might just be the first piece of the puzzle.
