Ferrari SF90 takes on a 3,000 HP Nissan Patrol

An interesting video has come up online thanks to Carwow. A Ferrari SF90 Stradale has gone head to head with not just one, but multiple Nissan Patrols each in different states of tune. All this is done in the Middle East, where the Patrol is a very popular SUV.

Ferrari SF90 vs the Nissan Patrols

There are four Nissan Patrols featured in the video. The first one is a stock one that is powered by a 4.8-liter straight-six good for 280 HP and 310 lb-ft. of max torque. Next up is a turbocharged pick-up Patrol that is rated at 280 HP and 428 lb-ft.

After these two, the next Patrol is a heavily modified Patrol SUV that features a twin-turbo kit. The power is boosted to 1,200 HP while the peak torque stands at 1,180 lb-ft. Now you might think this is it, but no, there is one more Patrol which is saved for the last.

The main focus on this video is the Nissan Patrol that’s built on the GT-R R35 chassis. Yes, you read that right. This particular patrol comes with a heavily worked-up 3.8-liter V6 engine. It develops a gigantic 3,000 HP and a massive 2,581 lb-ft. of peak torque. All this power is handled by a six-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. Infact, this Nissan Patrol also holds the Guinness World Record for being the fastest SUV in the world.

Ferrari SF90 Stradale : More Details

The challenger is none other than the Ferrari SF90. This prancing horse comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that is rated at 1,000 HP and 590 lb-ft. It comes with a hybrid Powertrain, but it is no match for the heavily modified Nissan Patrol.

Watch the video for more details, but here’s a hint – while the Ferrari manages a good start, its the Patrol that crosses the finish line first.
