Ferrari Purosangue spotted at Fiorano; listen to the V12 engine sing!

Ferrari venturing into the SUV space with a new model dubbed as the Purosangue. You may have seen the test mule of the car driving around Maranello already. Now, check out this video of the Purosangue lapping the Fiorano test track. The test car seen in this video is an early prototype wearing a Maserati Grecale top hat.

Powering Ferrari’s first SUV will be a naturally aspirated V12 engine. While details of the new powertrain are still under wraps, we can expect it to make around 800 hp. The engine is likely to be paired with a dual-clutch automatic transmission along with an all-wheel-drive system.

At first, it seemed like Ferrari was planning to take on the highly popular Lamborghini Urus. However, we expect the Purosangue to be positioned one segment above it. Rumors suggest that it could be priced at around €350,000. Ferrari could also limit its production to make it more exclusive, however, that doesn’t mean it will be a low-volume model by any standard.
