Ferrari has filed a trademark application for a new name, and it could hint at another intriguing model from Maranello. The name in question is Ferrari LC67, a moniker unlike anything currently used in the Italian brand’s road-car range.
The trademark application covers automobiles, including both road and racing cars, along with vehicle parts and accessories. It also extends to clothing, merchandise and other branded products, including downloadable emojis.
Ferrari has yet to reveal what LC67 actually refers to, so there is plenty of room for speculation. The application itself does not confirm that a production car carrying the name is on the way, but Ferrari has previously used unusual designations for particularly exclusive projects.
One possibility is that LC67 could be connected in some way to the 12Cilindri. However, that remains purely speculation for now. The trademark could ultimately be used for a road car, a racing machine, or simply remain unused.
