Ferrari F80 spotted at Times Square ahead of US tour
The Ferrari F80 has been spotted at the famous Times Square in New York. The LaFerrari successor will be touring the United States over the coming weeks. It will be presented at various Ferrari dealerships across the country.
Our previous post on the F80 caused a bit of a stir. In that, we had mentioned that Ferrari had a US event planned for its flagship hypercar. It looks like the F80 is kicking off its US tour with a stopover in New York.
Ferrari is building 799 examples of the F80, and you can expect to see more than a few being delivered to the US. The starting price for one of these is around $4 million, but there are certain dealers quoting upwards of $6 million for a build slot.
The F80 features a mid-mounted 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 900 hp. The internal combustion engine is paired with an electric front axle and an F1-derived MGU-K, which adds another 300 hp, taking the total output to 1200 hp. Ferrari claims a 0-62 mph time of 2.15 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.
