F12M engine and gearbox
According to the source, the Ferrari F12 replacement will get a larger capacity engine compared to its predecessor. The 6.3-liter V12 has been bored out to 6.5-liters and will produce 800 hp and 530 lb-ft of torque. The naturally aspirated motor is capable of delivering 80 percent of torque at just 3500 rpm. Those are quite bold performance stats, if all of this turns out to be true.
Ferrari has also redone the dual-clutch transmission on the F12M. Upshifts are now 30 percent quiker while it downshifts 40 percent faster than its previous version.
The Ferrari F12 M will get the latest version of Slide Slip Control (SSC) which will make drifting this monster seem like child’s play. Furthermore, Ferrari will fit the four-wheel steering system form the F12 Tdf and an electric power steering in place of the traditional hydraulic setup.
