Ferrari 458 Spider could be the last of the breed
The Ferrari 458 is an epic supercar and a jewel in the crown of Ferrari engineering. There is no denying the fact that this car has what it takes to adorn that prancing horse logo.
If you look back in time, Ferrari has had a history of making mid-engine V8 supercars. There’s a story behind how Enzo Ferrari began producing V8 powered road cars in place of the usual V12 naturally aspirated ones. Watch XCAR Films’ latest video on the Ferrari 458 Spider to know full the story.

Also, there’s a big change that next 458 could bid goodbye to its naturally aspirated V8 that goes nuts when one gets too ambitious with the throttle and move to a turbocharged engine instead. It means, the Ferrari 458 could well be the last mid-engine Ferraris powered by an atmospheric V8.
What are your thoughts about a turbocharged Ferrari. Would it be as exciting as the current 458?
