Ferrari 12Cilindri crashes during a media drive in Luxembourg
A Ferrari 12Cilindri has crashed in Luxembourg. As per reports, the car was part of the media fleet for a local press event.
The exact details of the accident are still unclear, but it seems the driver may have lost control due to slippery road conditions. As you can see, the 12Cilindri was travelling on a wet road, that too in the middle of winter.
The Ferrari 12Cilindri is the brand’s flagship GT and the replacement for the 812 Superfast. It made its global debut in Miami earlier this year.
The design of the 12Cilindri is inspired by the 365 GTB/4, also known as the Ferrari Daytona. It is powered by a front-mounted F140HD 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that revs to 9500 rpm and produces 819 hp @ 9250 rpm and 500 lb-ft @ 7250 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Ferrari claims the 12Cilindri will sprint from 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 211 mph.
