Two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso has been spotted once again in one of his supercars. This time he’s been caught driving his Aston Martin Valkyrie in Monaco.
The Spanish racing driver can be seen cruising on the streets in his V12 supercar. The footage shows him driving in the famous tunnel in the city while wearing what appears to be a set of headphones. The Valkyrie can get pretty loud, but we’re not sure if that’s the reason why he has put his headphones on. We mean, he races in Formula 1 after all!
The later part of the video shows him merging into another road, and that’s when he gets to push the car a little, and we get to hear the 6.5-litre NA engine, built by Cosworth, make some noise.
Developed with Red Bull Advanced Technologies, the Aston Martin Valkyrie is as close as it gets to a Formula 1 machine for the road. Its engine can rev up to 11,000 rpm. Paired with the hybrid system, it generates a combined output of around 1,160 hp.
