Corvette Stingray C7 “Polizei” by Tikt Performance

Tune it! Safe! has unveiled a Corvette Stingray C7 wrapped in German “Polizei” livery at Essen Motor Show 2015. Built by Tikt Performance, the internals of the C7 Corvette have been left unchanged. That said, the exterior has been modified quite tastefully.

The annual Essen Motor Show is like the European version of SEMA where tuners from across the continent showcase their latest creation. Tune it! Safe! is an organization which promotes safe and responsible tuning. To highlight their point, they along with German Federal Ministry of Transport and the Association of Automobile Tuners (VDAT) designed and built this Corvette Stingray C7.

The exterior modifications include a carbon fiber body kit that includes a wide fenders, front lip spoiler and side skirts in carbon. A carbon fiber rear spoiler has also been thrown in for good measure. A Hella police lighting package has been added which consists of the roof mounted beacon and LED lights in the front bumper. Stock wheels have been replaced with 19-inch and 20-inch RR-1 forged alloy wheels shod with Hankook Ventus S1 evo tires.

The engine in the “Polizei” Corvette Stingray C7 is a stock 6.2-liter V8 which makes 460 hp and 464 lb-ft of peak torque. A 7-speed manual transmission allows the car to sprint from 0-62 mph in 4.2 sec and has a top speed of 180 mph.
