Charles Leclerc spotted in his newest toy – a Ferrari Daytona SP3
Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc is back in Monaco after the Saudi Arabia GP and was recently spotted in driving his brand-new toy – a Ferrari Daytona SP3.
The matte black Daytona SP3 was seen in the principality earlier as well. However, no one was really sure if it belonged to Leclerc. As it turns out, it indeed was. It’s the second limited-edition Ferrari supercar, after the 812 Competizione A, that Charles has taken delivery of since December 2023.
While the Charles Competizione A is finished in matte white, the Daytona SP3 has a mate black exterior and matching wheels. It also has a red Alcantara seats and a red and white stripe depicting the colors of the principality.
The Daytona SP3 is based on the LaFerrari Aperta. Its design was inspired by mid-engine V12 sports prototypes from the past, making it one of the most striking special editions Ferrari has ever created. At its heart is a mid-mounted 6.5-liter V12 engine from the 812 Competizione. It develops 850 hp and comes paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
